The Creative Charter is a declaration, not a replacement. Many organisations already support arts and culture, some going above and beyond these Charter commitments. It’s vital this continues.

You can also extend your commitment however works best for you. Check out some examples below.

Unite

A sole trader could introduce themselves to neighbouring arts and cultural organisations and freelancers.

Advocate

A small organisation could share about local or regional arts and culture once a month on social media.

Grow

A medium-sized organisation could donate empty spaces on training courses they’re organising to creatives

Include

A large organisation could sponsor an arts and culture project or ‘pay it forward’ with a number of tickets.

Thankyou

“Thank you for supporting arts and culture in Hull & East Yorkshire – and in turn helping the growth of the regional economy”

Dominic Gibbons, Chair of HEY Creative and MD of Wykeland Group
